The Summer Solstice Fashion Show was so incredible! It was so nice for our industry to come together to support CUT IT OUT (Stylists Against Domestic Abuse). So many salons and stylists did so much. I am very proud of all of us. All of you did such a great job at the Fashion Show and had such amazing models. Thank you so much to the Unity Salon models! You were so great to work with and incredibly beautiful. We love you Unity Stylists! You put in a lot of time and effort to make sure that this came together. Thank you to Shandi who assisted this morning with styling the models, and thank you Casey for the incredible make-up that you did on the models. And finally, much thanks to Kenna Wareham from Salon Services & Supplies, who organized the show for this important cause!
Join local salons for a Summer Solstice Fashion Show on Sunday June 27th at Club Habits 4-6 pm. Proceeds go to Cut It Out-Stylists Against Domestic Abuse. Unity is blessed to have the talent and laughter of Kim. She is a Master Stylist with over 14 years of experience. As her clients will attest, a cut and color by Kim means beautiful hair. Not only is Kim experienced and naturally talented, but she shares her vivacious and shining personality which brings light, laughter, and fun to the Salon.
Through March 31 Kim is offering specials for New Clients. $10 off a Cut & Style or 40% off a Cut & Color.
I’m just loving the Salon. I really feel like it has become such a comfortable and friendly place. I just love Mina. Her personality fits in so well with all of us at the Salon. Kim, Poppi, and Gabby are a lot of fun and make the salon upbeat. Yesterday I got to help a lot of clients with the new complimentary paraffin dip that we give everybody. It was fun to see how much they all enjoyed it.
Please welcome our new Master Esthetician Mina Laughlin!
Mina comes to us with many years of experience as an Esthetician. Her business is DermAppeal Associates, and she starts at Unity on February 15th. We’re excited to experience her work. Stay tuned as we get her profile and services on the website.
Welcome Mina!!!!!
We have just set up a parrafin dip. Now when you come in to get your hair done, you can dip your hands (and/or elbows) to moisturize your skin. Plastic gloves and Terry Cloth Mitts are also provided. This is a complimentary service to pamper you. Enjoy this while you wait for your appointment, or while your hair processes.
Last night we had our Stylist Soiree. It was good to get together with our friends last night. The stylists were so helpful in getting ready and looked SO GOOD! So proud to know them. Thank you to our friends that came last night too. We appreciate your support!
Welcome to Unity Salon! We’re glad that you’re following our blog. Unity Salon has been in business since December 1, 2009, when Shane Creekmore and Jason Bolinder purchased it. The salon was previously named “The Electric Chair Salon”. The new name comes from our history. Under difficult circumstances the salon was purchased, allowing us to stay together. We love what we do. We love each other. And we love to accentuate the beauty of our clients.
Unity Salon specializes in providing our clients a luxury experience at an affordable price. We offer a full range of hair services with several Master Stylists in house. Aesthetic services such as waxing, facials, and chemical peels are also available through our Master Esthetician. We provide personalized hand spray tanning and a boutique that carries fun and affordable clothes.
Drop by the Salon to check us out. We’re at 215 South 400 East in downtown SLC.
