With the warmer weather coming – it is time to get a tan – a SAFE tan! Unity offers airbrush tanning, a hand sprayed tan with 2 formulas – 8.5% for light to medium skin and 12.5% for medium and olive tone skins. DHA is an all natural component derived from sugarcane, it causes a chemical reaction with the top layer of skin cells resulting in a darkening (tanning) effect. The color is very natural – no orangey Jersey Shore look here! Your tan will last 7 to 10 days and fade naturally just like a real tan! For BEST results simply follow these directions. The night before your appointment exfoliate your body well focusing on all dry areas, shave and moisturize well. The day of your appointment bring flip flops, dark loose clothing to put on after your spray tan, if you would like to wear a swimsuit or undergarment during your spray tan, be sure to wear dark colors as the spray tan does contain a bronzer guide that can stain light colors. Do NOT sweat or shower for at least 8 hours following your airbrush. Color will develop within 8 hours of spray, with full results within 10 to 12 hours. It is best to wait 12 to 24 hours after spray tanning to shower. After your spray tan you will want to moisturize often, the more you moisturize the longer the tanning result will last.
